WOW HOLY SHIT THE NOTES;;; I must add this is just something I see generally, both in Anime and cartoons\comics. Series that do have variety in important characters are scarce in comparision, but it’s not just lack of body types and faces that bothers me, as I said before. This is why I like some anime styles like the original UC Gundams wherein realistic body types were found throughout the cast, so long as they were believably military in most cases. But you will see even fat people in the background. Not all anime has crappy art direction. Just most new ones.$
